He also holds a patent application for the "Oral mouthpiece for endoscopic procedures."

Dr. Jones received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. He earned his Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy degrees at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, with a research focus on basic mechanisms of visceral pain. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado, a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of California, San Francisco, and a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. Before relocating to Colorado, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Diego, where he practiced anesthesiology and pain management and performed clinical and basic research on mechanisms of and treatment for chronic pain.
Dr. Sebastian Monsalves is board-certified in Anesthesiology and the President of the Airway Committee in Chile. He graduated from the University of Chile and is working as a clinical anesthesiologist and teacher of the specialty since 2011.

Dr. Sebastian Monsalves is board-certified in Anesthesiology and the President of the Airway Committee in Chile. He graduated from the University of Chile and is working as a clinical anesthesiologist and teacher of the specialty since 2011.
Dr. Monsalves leads the bi-annual Latin American Airway Training organization in Chile, including respective given lectures and training workshops held nationwide. Lecturer in airway training program emphasizing diagnostic vigilance evaluation, airway ultrasound (POCUS), and training in intubation with flexible bronchoscopy. These experiences have allowed him to participate as a lecturer and instructor teacher in more than 30 courses/conferences on difficult airway management, specializing in flexible bronchoscopy in Universidad de Chile and Universidad Diego Portales. He currently works at Hospital San Borja Arriaran and Clinica Alemana in Santiago de Chile.
